Unable to Create Extension Project in Niotron IDE

Hello,

I’m trying to create my first Extension Project in Niotron IDE, but I’m facing an issue.

After entering the project details and clicking the “Continue” button, nothing happens.

I already tried:

  • Different project names and package names

  • Leaving Icon URL and Help URL empty

  • Refreshing the page

  • Using different browsers and incognito mode

Example:

  • Project Name: SmartExtension

  • Package Name: com.smartextension.project

I would appreciate any help or suggestions.
Is this a known issue or does Extension Development require special account access?

The IDE was not maintained as was facing issues. We’ve updated it and should be working now.

Which Java/JDK version? (AFAIK, the old version was 7.)
