Subject: Urgent Concern: API Level 35 Compliance & Premium User Treatment

Dear Niotron Team,

I hope this message reaches you with the seriousness it deserves.

As a premium Niotron user, paying over $10 monthly, I am deeply concerned and disappointed with the current handling of the Google Play Target API Level 35 requirement. This is not a minor inconvenience—it is a critical business risk for developers like myself who rely on Niotron for production-ready apps that must comply with Google Play’s policies.

I have followed the community discussions closely:

  • This statement seems to present Beta as if it were the final, best solution.
  • This earlier post mentioned that it wouldn’t take long, yet as of August, we are still struggling without a proper update.

However, relying on the Beta version is not a viable or acceptable solution for production applications. The Beta lacks essential components and stability, which makes it unsuitable for apps that need to be published or updated on Google Play officially. Premium users are forced into a corner, with no reliable path to comply with Google Play’s deadline.

I have personally received a warning from Google Play with the following message:

“App must target Android 15 (API level 35) or higher.”
Status: You won’t be able to release app updates (25 days away).
Deadline: August 31, 2025.

This means my business is at risk of having apps downgraded, blocked from updates, or even removed from the Play Store.

As a premium user, I did not expect:

  • To be forced to use an unstable Beta environment for critical updates.
  • To experience a lack of clear communication and timely action on such a high-priority issue.
  • To feel as though premium users receive the same delayed treatment as free users, despite ongoing payments.
  • To be charged monthly while essential services (like Play Store compliance) are missing, which raises ethical concerns.

My Humble but Serious Requests:

  1. Niotron must immediately prioritize integrating API Level 35 support into the main production builder.
  2. Premium users deserve transparent communication and an official timeline update regarding this issue.
  3. It is essential to acknowledge the ethical responsibility of charging users for a service that fails to meet basic Play Store requirements.
  4. If delays are unavoidable, Niotron should consider offering service credits or compensations to premium users, as a gesture of fairness and goodwill.

I also refer to how my previous concern was lightly responded to in [this post]

Such responses feel dismissive when premium clients are facing serious challenges. I would kindly ask @abhijith and the Niotron team to treat this matter with priority and address it in the main production builder, not as a temporary workaround in Beta.

I respect the effort that goes into building Niotron, but I must be honest: premium users deserve better service, transparency, and urgency. It is unfair—and morally questionable—to continue billing clients for services that are not production-ready, especially when these issues affect their ability to operate on platforms like Google Play.

I am writing this with humility, but I am not satisfied with the current service, and I kindly expect immediate action, a clear roadmap, and a professional response.

It is my hope that Niotron will address this immediately with a solid, production-level solution.
