I want to make a live wallpaper app. So I want to know how to set live wallpaper (ie gif or mp4 file) in home screen and lock screen. And is it possible?

What type of permission is required to publish a wallpaper app on Play Store?
And is Write_Settings permission mandatory or optional in wallpaper app because it is getting error (Write_Settings has been denied).
@Big_Master Please share your block image; also share the specific block that gives the error and how you are basically setting the wallpaper. There will be some problems; once you share the blocks, I can analyze that.
If I ask for WRITE_SETTINGS permission then I’m getting error WRITE_SETTINGS permission has been denied. So this permission is mandatory or not. Other permissions are working fine. Please guide me bro @iaditya_nanda . WRITE_SETTINGS permission is required for publishing app on play store or not.

I want to know the name of all permissions required for wallpaper app. Which is used in your pixel wallpaper app. This is not very difficult for you, you can easily share the screenshot of all the permissions of your project. It’s a very humble request brother. Please help me​

I was following your post blindly that’s why I was getting error because in this post you are showing WRITE_SETTINGS permission.
I saw two big mistakes​ in that post, first - WRITE_SETTINGS is not required and second - you set wrong folder name in Start Download component. You have set the full path but there should be folder name Download.

Developing apps with Niotron or any other block code platform doesn’t makes you a developer.
Everyone should study and learn first then work.

You are absolutely right but when I used the whole path the wallpaper was not getting set so I decided it should be only the folder name which is already mentioned in the block, after this change the wallpaper set component worked properly. Sorry bro @iaditya_nanda if I hurt you I am not questioning your knowledge. And Thanks again for help me.

Bro @iaditya_nanda To set video as wallpaper should I follow the same procedure that I follow for setting image as wallpaper or is it completely different.

This is not working, I have tried similar procedure like setting the image as wallpaper. I got this bug report and the app is closing automatically. Bro @iaditya_nanda any other solution for set live wallpaper.
