Previously, the $4.99 monthly plan used to cover monetization, app size, and extension size, which was reasonable. But now, the cost has increased to $5.99 for all services combined. Honestly, this change doesn’t feel fair. The previous $4.99 pricing was just right and more developer-friendly.
The new $5.99 plan doesn’t seem to provide enough additional value to justify the increase. I feel that many developers, including myself, would appreciate it if Niotron considered reverting to the earlier model—offering the 3 core services (monetization, app size, and extension size) for $4.99/month.
Please consider this suggestion. It would really help small developers and encourage more people to continue using Niotron.
We did not intend to increase the pricing. With the earlier pricing the base total would come to around 5.3$ ~ approximately. The cost for individual Build Size and Asset Size increase was under 1$ but this was an issue with our payment provider since they can’t process payments below 1$.
We’ve increased the price of subscriptions that was under a $ to 1 as the minimum which is why you might see a slight increase in price. We’ve tried to keep the INR pricing the same.
You can try to subscribe for a longer duration and receive a discounted price which is something we have implemented to offset the increase. Subscribing for a longer duration should be cheaper than before, It also ensures that out payment processor supports the payment.
