Companion Not Running in Existing Project – Unable to Test or Push Updates on Play Store

Hello Team,

I am facing a serious issue with my existing Niotron project. The Companion is not opening at all, and due to this, I am unable to test my app or push updates to the Google Play Store.

Here are the details of the problem:

  • I have a working project which I’ve been updating regularly.
  • Recently, the Niotron Companion stopped opening when I try to test this project.
  • I have already subscribed to the App Size Upgrade plan.
  • In a new project, the Companion works initially, but once the app size crosses 7–8 MB, it also stops working there.
  • This issue is blocking my app updates and I need to resolve it urgently.

I have a few questions:

  1. Is there any alternative for live testing, like USB testing?
  2. For USB testing, I understand that we need AI Starter or a helper tool, but Niotron hasn’t provided that. Is there any workaround or compatible tool we can use?

Please guide me with any solution or alternative for live testing so I can continue development without delays. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

We are looking at improving the companion. Should improve in the coming updates

Please Resolve ASAP
I NEED TO UPDATE APP ON PLAYSTORE

If the problem only occurs for apps > 7MB, what’s the problem with temporarily removing some assets during the (companion) trial period?

Could you try exporting the AIA and then reuploading it to the builder?
