if i set it false then any issues from play console or leave as true

i am using as true but getting error this.

Enabling cleartext traffic (HTTP instead of HTTPS) is generally used in testing or development phases where APIs may not yet have SSL certificates or when working with local development servers. This allows your app to communicate with those servers over HTTP without encryption, which simplifies setup but reduces security.

For production apps, however, it’s strongly recommended to use HTTPS for all communications to ensure data is encrypted in transit. If cleartext traffic is left enabled in a production app, it can expose users’ data to potential interception and manipulation.

So, in summary:

• Development/Testing: Cleartext traffic might be enabled to allow HTTP connections.
• Production: Ideally, cleartext should be disabled, and all API communication should be over HTTPS for security.

So basically if you have any API over http then enable it else uncheck it.
