Hi, what about testing the application? beta companion doesn’t work
What is the issue?
it automatically shuts down when it reaches 20%, and the main companion doesn’t function either. It indicates a connection, but the companion screen doesn’t display any app interface.
Did you test with an empty project?
Just tested out, in beta builder the issue persists no matter whether the project is empty but in the main builder, it’s working fine with the empty project. How would I test my existing projects in main builder?
Yea, these seems to be an issue, will release an update for it
i found out where this bug is coming from, companion is not working with those projects having extensions. (main builder)
The same thing happens to me when I create a new project, the companion works, but when I add an extension, even the simplest one created with the same IDE niotron, the companion does not work. I tried it on Android 14 Samsung a52 … but on Android 13 Moto G it works normally. Also, the companion beta closes unexpectedly at 20%
correct, testing is crucial for building apps, @abhijith a quick update to the main builder would be greatly appreciated
Should be fixed.
working fine with the updated app
now causing error, whenever I am importing an extension in an empty app. it says, unable to load file: https://beta.niotron.com/ode/download/file/…
Did you try reinstalling the companion because it seems to be working for me
I just installed the new beta version 4.9.7 and now it works perfectly even adding extensions. I hope it will be on the main server soon. Thanks Niotron Team
whenever i reopen the project (having extensions) and try to test it, this is the error that shows up on companion, when you perform your first test, it works fine until you drag your extension.
First test with extension works but the 2nd time onwards it doesn’t?
when you create an empty project it works fine. as soon as you add the extension, sometimes it doesn’t show error but sometimes it shows the error (unable to find…)
could you please test it on your end?
That’s correct… I just checked the same thing, when importing any extension for the first time it works, but if you disconnect the companion and start it again that error appears, as if it didn’t find the extension.
