[URGENT BUG] Status Bar & Navigation Bar Overlay Issue when Targeting Android 16 (Beta)

Hi Niotron Team,

I am writing to report a critical UI bug in the current Niotron Beta version.

When I set the Target SDK to Android 16, the app’s screen content is being overlaid by the Status Bar and Navigation Bar. The app content is going completely under the system bars (like an edge-to-edge display issue), which ruins the user interface and makes the app unusable.

Steps to Reproduce:

  • Use Niotron Beta version.

  • Set Target SDK to Android 16.

  • Compile and open the app.

  • Result: The status bar and navigation bar overlap the app’s screen content.

Why this is urgent: Google Play Store is making it mandatory to update apps with the new API level/Android 16 by August 31st. If this overlay issue is not fixed, we will not be able to update our apps on the Play Store before the deadline.

Please look into this and provide a fix as soon as possible. Thank you!

It sometimes seems like this. Mostly when trying to change status bar color or page orientation.

android <=14 and below status and nav bar color not Appling
